International Trade And Logistics

In today's global competition environment where Industry 4.0 integration is experienced, the trade between the outputs obtained as a result of production processes is very important. It is also a complementary activity to deliver the outputs to the buyers at the right time in the right place (logistics activities) in relation to international trade. There is a growing need for quality human resources in international trade, where not only goods and services but also information trade have gained importance.

It is critical to train entrepreneurs who can keep up with changing competition conditions on a local and global basis and contribute to international competition. Therefore, with the increase of international trade volume from day to day Turkey, with education gained prominence in the evolving competitive environment will be in international trade and logistics in particular the needs of public and private sector to close the qualified human resources deficit managers, specialists and researchers aims to train.

The main objective of the International Trade and Logistics department is- who knows the legislation and applies it in practice; recognizes international commercial documents; take part in logistics processes in the context of supply chain management; who can follow and analyze global economic and commercial developments- to train experts.

In addition to the International Trade and Logistics field courses, basic business field courses such as management and organization, marketing, accounting, finance; economics and law courses are also given. During the 8th semester, our students are given internships within the scope of Workplace Training and Workplace Application. In addition, our students are offered the opportunity to gain intercultural experience within the framework of exchange programs such as Farabi, Mevlana and Erasmus.

Students who successfully complete the International Trade and Logistics department can take part in foreign trade departments, foreign trade departments of companies, import and export departments, foreign trade transactions of banks, customs, customs consultancy companies, logistics companies. In addition, they may have the opportunity to work in all public and private sector institutions where graduates of economics, business, economics and administrative sciences are involved.
