Gerede School of Applied Sciences was established under Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University with the Supplementary Article 30 added to the Law No. 2809 and the Decree No. 2011-1595 dated 04.04.2011.

With the President's Decision dated 29.06.2020 and numbered 2704, our University Gerede School of Applied Sciences was closed and "Gerede Applied Sciences Faculty" was established.

We have seven departments in our faculty, namely Finance and Banking (PhD in Participation Banking and Master's in Banking and Finance), Marketing, International Trade and Logistics, Aviation Management, Management Information Systems, Real Estate Development and Management and New Media and Journalism.

Our faculty started to admit students to the Finance and Banking Department with an additional quota in the 2012-2013 academic year, and students were recruited to the International Trade and Logistics Department and the Marketing Department in the 2016-2017 academic year. We are planning to admit students to the departments of Aviation Management, Management Information Systems, Real Estate Development and Management and New Media and Journalism if the necessary infrastructure conditions are created.

The closed area of ​​our faculty consists of 8300 square meters. There are 12 classrooms for 70 people and 1 computer laboratory. There are 1 conference hall for 108 people and 3 auditoriums for 108 people.
